CARiNE ROiTFELD REVEALS NAME, DETAiLS OF HER NEW GLOSSY
Since Carine Roitfeld's departure from Vogue Paris in December of 2010, speculation has swirled regarding her next move. Yesterday, the former EIC has confirmed to WWD that her new project will be a new magazine entitled CR Fashion Book. Debuting in September, each issue of the book will follow a theme and will contain only feature length stories. Carine emphasized to WWD that CR is not a challenge to Vogue, but "something new, something different". What do you think?
It's very Carine-- loving the b&w of course, and the handwritten monogram logo. Not sure about naming it CR (a little obvious?), but overall, it is, as my little cousin would now say after spending the weekend with me, so chic.
