While on the wonderful blog La Dolce Vita, I learned about Pencils of Promise.
The organization raises money to build schools and bring early-stage learning the nearly 75 million children in the developing world without access to education. A hungry learner since childhood and fortunate beneficiary of wonderful colleges and universities, I personally am so passionate about education.
