My girlfriends donated blood to the Red Cross the other day and were rewarded for their generosity (and bravery in the face of needles) with two tickets each to the Clippers game at the Staples Center! What is more, we were able to upgrade our game experience and enjoy drinks and apps in the American Express Lounge. Yes, as it turns out, we learned a fun fact: No matter how much your tickets cost (nothing in this case thanks to philanthropy), you can flash your AmEx and enjoy the game as if you paid much more to be there! It was a wonderful evening for the four of us, especially given that we are young career girls continuously searching for ways to live an enriching life and enjoy the delights of our city while being smart by respecting a budget.
