The busiest and loveliest time of year at work is
awards season.
Ever since I was a little girl, I would just devour the images from awards shows. I loved the retrospectives of fashion history’s most beautiful moments: black-and-white photographs of Viviene Leigh wearing floral at the Roosevelt Hotel, Audrey Hepburn in Givenchy kissing the cheek of her new Oscar, Grace Kelly serene in powder blue satin and gloves. I pored over the newest magazines following the shows, memorizing who wore what and cutting out my favorites to store in a shoe box. Now dressing the stars who float down the red carpet has become my career.
Everyone has their favorite looks from the shows, and here I will share mine.
(I promise not to favor my own clients!)
